Welcome to DDAP10 2018
Dynamics Days Asia-Pacific (DDAP) is one of the four influential and regular international series of conferences on dynamical systems, including Dynamics Days USA, Dynamics Days Europe and Dynamics Days South America.
The first conference (DDAP1) was sponsored by Professor Bambi Hu, dean of Physics Department, Director of Center for Nonlinear Studies, at Hong Kong Baptist University, and was launched in 1999 at HKBU.
(2) Previous DDAP
Hong Kong (DDAP1, 1999); Hangzhou (DDAP2, 2002); Singapore (DDAP3, 2004)
Pohang (DDAP4, 2006); Nara (DDAP5, 2008);Sydney (DDAP6, 2010)
Taipei (DDAP7, 2012);Chennai (DDAP8, 2014); Hong Kong (DDAP9, 2016)
The 10th Dynamics Days Asia-Pacific (DDAP10) will be held in Huaqiao University at Xiamen (Fujian Province, China) during November 1-5, 2018.
The mission of DDAP is to bring together scientists around Asia Pacific region to facilitate an interdisciplinary dialog among different areas in nonlinear dynamics. DDAP aims at retrospecting progresses in nonlinear science and its applications in physical, biological, neural and even social sciences, and identifying themes and issues for further developments.
There will be a winter school prior to DDAP10 during October 27-31, 2018. The school aims at a series of lectures on nonlinear dynamics, chaos, and complex systems. Graduate students and young scholars mainly from mainland China are welcome to participate in.
